Pressure test 1 1/4 inch gas line and 1/2 inch gas line in same area to ensure lines hold pressure for inspection. Return following night and shut off gas to building. Remove section of 2 inch gas piping then install new tee fitting. Install new section of pipe and reconnect to existing 2 inch piping. Will re-light and necessary pilots that may go out during gas shut down process during this time. Cap off reduced line from newly installed tee fitting to be able to turn back on gas . Run new section of 1 1/4 inch gas line then tee off to connect to existing 1/2 inch gas line. Put both laterals as well as newly ran piping on pressure test for inspection next day. Return following morning at 7:00 a.m. to shut off gas and connect piping after lines are tested and passed. Will re-light and necessary pilots that may go out during gas shut down process during this time.
