MASTER SIGN PROGRAM REQUEST:
As shown on the submitted application materials :
Allow a Master Sign Program for two replacement monument signs , each at:
A) an increased sign area from 32 to 80 square feet display f or a monument sign in the R 1 zone
B) an increased sign area from 50 to 80 square feet display for monument sign criteria;
C) an increased height from 10’ to 14’, taken from base to top of cabinet
D) exceed allowed sign area within the R 1 zone on a local street (Randolph Way) rom 20 to 80 square feet for the proposed sign at SE corner of Randolph and Broadway (bisects street corner, counts towards both street fronts)
E) exceed allowed sign area within the R 1 zone on a local street (Randolph Way) from 20 to 80 s quare feet for the proposed sign at NE corner of Randolph and 22nd Street (bisects street corner, counts towards both street fronts).
Director's Notice of Decision issued 05/08/2020
DECISION: Approved, with condition that both signs are constructed with
masonry and stucco embellishments as implied on the plans, and signs shall be located so as not to interfere with existing pedestrian pathways . Appeal period ends 05/22/2020
