Description:
To facilitate installation of fiber optic cabling for Pima County, direct bore from 616 W. congress to 150 w. congress. Boring will be in the easement on the north side of Congress. This project is located in a City of Tucson Archaeological Sensitivity Zone. An archaeological monitor hired by the permit applicant is required to be on-site during any digging, unless a waiver is issued. The Arizona State Museum can furnish a list of qualified archaeologists. Please allow up to 30 days for the monitor to obtain a project-specific Arizona Antiquities Act permit before scheduling the work. The existing City of Tucson monitoring and discovery plan for excavation within an Archaeological Sensitivity Zone may be used by the monitor to obtain the permit.
