Description:

CIP: Grant Road Phase 5 & 6 Improvements We will perform a 15 vertical borings to an approximate depth of 5 feet below existing grade with auger that is 7 inches in diameter. Additionally, we will perform 9 vertical borings to depths of 2 to 3 feet below existing grade with auger that is 15 inches in diameter. The location of the borings are on the attached site plan (Infiltration test locations are performed with the 15 inch auger). 9 locations are within the existing roadways of Grant, Campbell and Country Club Roads in which a core of the asphalt will be obtained prior to the boring. 5 additional locations will be off the roadway but will have a lane closure due to equipment size. Remaining 10 locations will not require traffic control. Our work will take approximately 30-45 minutes per location.
