For: proposed replacement monument signs
At: 8601 E Old Spanish Trail
Reviewer: H. Thrall
Date: 4/2/2020

1) Proposal indicates removal of existing 30 square foot monument sign (permit T15OT01360) and replacement with 2 monument signs at primary driveway entry on northern side of site. Providing maximum total sign area is 50 square feet for signs meant to be seen from right of way. proposal may proceed.

2) Contractor to provide dimensioned construction plans of both signs.

3) Contractor to provide site plan with property line boundaries, dimensioned setbacks, sight visibility triangles for signs located within 30' of face of curb, inventory of all signs along roadway, and signs greater than 12 square feet in area that may be mounted to building and meant for public wayfinding (rather than for on-site users).

4) The current sign does not have electrical running to it. Note, providing internally illuminated signs would require electrical permit to run power.

5) The sign district is the multif-family residential district, as this portion of Old Spanish Trail is not designated as a scenic route on the City of Tucson Major Streets and Routes map.
