ALL PREVIOUSLY NOTED COMMENTS ARE ISSUES WITHIN THE RIGHTS OF WAY AND IS APPROVED WITH THE APPROVAL OF THE BUILDING OFFICIAL ON 5/12/2020. BELOW IS THE LIST OF THE ORIGINAL COMMENTS MADE DURING MY INSPECTION OF THE SITE ON 4/17/2020: IS PARTIALED AT THIS TIME DUE TO THE SITE WORK IS NOT COMPLETE. THE FOLLOWING ITEMS HAVE BEEN NOTED INCORRECT DURING THIS SITE VISIT: 1) THE ADA PARKING SPACE IS NOT IN THE LOCATION THAT IS SHOWN ON THE APPROVED PLANS AND IS NONCOMPLIANT. PROVIDE US WITH APPROVED REVISED DRAWINGS FOR THIS CHANGE, OR CONSTRUCT THIS AS IT HAS BEEN APPROVED. ALSO THE RUNNING SLOPE OF THE ROADWAY WHERE THE PARKING SPACE IS TO BE CONSTRUCTED IS BETWEEN 2.6% AND 4.0%, THIS NEEDS TO BE 2% OR LESS IN ALL DIRECTIONS WHEN IT IS INSPECTED. 2) THE SIDEWALK THAT IS SHOWN IN THE AREA BETWEEN THE APPROVED PARKING SPACE AND THE ACCESS TO THE BUILDING IS NON COMPLIANT FOR THE CROSS SLOPE. CURRENTLY THE SLOPES IN THIS AREA VARY BETWEEN 2.6% TO OVER 4%, THIS WILL NEED TO BE ADDRESSED FOR THE PARKING SPACE/ACCESS AISLE TO BE COMPLIANT. ALSO AT THE DOORWAY THERE IS NOT A LANDING AT THE TOP OF THE RAMP TO ALLOW FOR A POINT OF REST WHILE OPENING THE DOOR, THE LANDING IS ON THE INSIDE OF THE DOOR. 3) THE ISSUES NOTED IN THIS AREA ARE THE RESPONSIBILITY OF THE RIGHT OF WAY DEPARTMENT FOR THE CITY OF TUCSON TRANSPORTATION DEPT. THE ACCESS RAMP LOCATED AT THE SOUTHWEST CORNER OF THIS BUILDING IS NON-COMPLIANT IN THE FOLLOWING AREAS. IT IS MISSING THE KICK PLATE ON THE RIGHT SIDE OF THE HANDRAIL GOING UP THE RAMP AND THE HANDRAIL ON THE LEFT SIDE OF THE SAME RAMP GOING UP. 4) COMPLETE THE LANDSCAPING AROUND THIS SITE PRIOR TO RECALLING THIS INSPECTION AGAIN. ALL DISTURBED AREAS WILL NEED TO HAVE SOME TYPE OF LANDSCAPING MATERIAL APPLIED EITHER PLANTS, DECOMPSED GRANITE, OR HYDROSEED PRIOR TO APPROVAL OF THE SITE. |
