As part of the UA Honors College off-site street improvements, three 7-inch-diameter truck-mounted auger borings will be placed along Park Ave. to measure the existing pavement section and collect subgrade soil samples. The borings will each be located in the travel lane as close as possible to the shoulder, each will be drilled to a depth of approximately 4 feet bgs and each will be backfilled and patched upon completion. We estimate that each location will take 15 to 20 minutes to complete (total of approx. 1 hr.). AZ811 has been notified of our intent to drill. NOTE: TRAFFIC CONTROL SETUPS SHALL BE IN ACCORDANCE WITH PART 6 OF THE LATEST ADDITION OF THE MANUAL ON UNIFORM TRAFFIC CONTROL DEVICES
