1) Per 7A.9.1. - no nonconforming sign may be altered without bringing the sign into compliance with the code. This sign is nonconforming for ability to have it - i,e, premise needs 225' of frontage to have a pole sign (this site has 220' of frontage per Assessor's)
This sign exceeds the height allowance of a pole sign.

To alter the sign to insert a digital message center requires an evaluation for an SSDO by the SDRC process to allow such aspects above to be varied and allow the sign design as proposed.}
