From the effective date of the most recent floodplain ordinance, the improvements to the structure in a ten-year period shall not exceed 50 per cent of the value of the structure. 3. The existing drainage patterns at the property lines shall not be obstructed or changed. 4. Except as approved by the City Engineer prior to the start of construction, development under this permit shall not obstruct, retard or divert the existing flow of floodwaters from or to adjacent properties. 5. This permit becomes invalid and is subject to additional floodplain review, if any required development permit (s') changes the configuration of the structure and or site development. 6. Any future development of the sight including patio walls to be constructed will require a separate Floodplain Use Permit. This Floodplain Use Permit will be automatically revoked and becomes invalid if conditions set forth in this permit are not complied with.
