Description:
Cathodic Protection Installation as follows: Contractor to drill a 10" hole, 500' deep; install anodes, junction box and 1" vent pipe; then backfill 10” dia. hole. Install (by trenching) copper cable from anode groundbed to rectifier approx 6' away. Trench and install copper cable from rectifier to existing L1007 pipeline, just west of the curb. Traffic barricades will be needed during excavation of the L1007 pipeline for approximately 2-days. Contractor will replace asphalt pavement and concrete curb in-kind to match existing. Install an underground vault and concrete slab around the anode groundbed so that these appurtenances are below grade/flush with ground level. The junction box will be mounted on the Rectifier pole. PLAN CHANGE; REDUCED WORK AREA AT THE SHOPPING CENTER'S REQUEST BECAUSE OF TRAFFIC FLOW.
