Description:
The IID request is for the re-habilitation and adaptive re-use of historic buildings built in the 1930's in the Art Modern Style. The buildings are contributing to the Tucson Warehouse Historic District. The proposal includes three new restaurants with retail, two new bars, and a micro-brewery into the existing spaces. The proposal includes the restoration of the existing historic facades. Approved with conditions: 1. This approval applies only to the requested exemptions and does not constitute approval of a building permit. Compliance with all other applicable zoning and building code requirements is required. Changes made to the plan in order to achieve compliance with these other code requirements which affect the exemption request may require another review for compliance with the IID requirements. 2. Subject to UDC Section 5.12.6.E. Historic Preservation Review, any alterations may not cause delisting of the contributing properties. 3. Final ADA parking configuration to be approved by Park Wise and applicable codes.
