Description:
The combined Westerner and West Poine Apartments Infill Incentive District (IID) project is located on the southeast corner of Broadway Boulevard and Stone Avenue. The proposal includes two building components, the historic Westerner Hotel (building 1) and the West Pointe Apartments (building 2). The proposal for building 1 includes the restoration and adaptive reuse of the existing structure into an office building with a 3,000 square foot retail and/or commercial space that will activate the streetscape. The proposal for building 2 includes the demolition of the non-historic eastern addition of the Westerner and the ground up construction of a new six-story apartment building.
