Drill a soil boring to 100 feet below ground surface on the west shoulder of Romero Road in front of 3735 N. Romero Road. The well location presented in accompanying Figure 2 is labeled Option #1 SJ-MW-4. If groundwater is encountered a 4-inch diameter well will be completed to 100 feet (see accompanying Figure 3). A traffic-rated, flush-mounted well vault will be installed at the surface to protect the well. Work is projected to take 3 to 4 days total. Areas will be cleared for underground utilities.
