01/08/2016 January 8, 2016 FLOODPLAIN USE PERMIT: T16OT00041 ADDRESS: 1375 W Glenn St, Tucson, Arizona 85705 OWNER: The applicant is authorized to use a portion of the Kruger Wash Watershed flood hazard area (City of Tucson Flood Hazard Area, FEMA zone X, panel) in the City of Tucson, Arizona, on the property described as 1375 West Glenn Street for the purpose of making solar array improvements to an existing Industrial Structure (east bldg.). The applicant agrees to comply with City of Tucson Floodplain and Erosion Hazard regulations, and is particularly bound by the conditions stated below. Violation of any of the conditions stated or referred to below, as determined by the City Engineer, shall be grounds for revocation of this permit. Responsibility for renewal of this permit, if necessary, is with the applicant. Issuance of this permit does not constitute a waiver of other requirements contained in the Tucson City Code, Land Use Code, or any other Federal, State, or local regulation. No use other than as permitted herein is allowed. Additional uses allowed under City of Tucson Floodplain and Erosion Hazard Regulations require the issuance of an additional Floodplain Use Permit. The following conditions shall apply to this permit. 1. All work shall conform to the approved improvement plans which are made part of this permit (T16CM00188) which is for SOLAR ARRAY improvements to roof of an existing structure. 2. The existing structure conforms to the floodplain regulations. Per previous FPUP T08OT02709, a letter from Michael F. York, RLS, dated November 14, 2008 establishes the lowest floor elevation at 2314.76 NAVD 1988. The base flood elevation for this location is 2313.27 NAVD 1988 as documented in a hydrology report by Jesus Lorenzo Ortiz, PE, sealed on 9-28-07. 3. Except as approved by the City Engineer prior to the start of construction, development under this permit shall not obstruct, retard or divert the existing flow of floodwaters from or to adjacent properties. 4. Any additional improvements not reflected in the current permit will be subject to separate review and additional permits. 5. This Floodplain Use Permit will be automatically revoked and becomes invalid for non-compliance to conditions set forth in this permit.
