(520) 975-7992 The applicant is authorized to use a portion of City of Tucson (NFIP Community #040076) Special Flood hazard Area, (FEMA FIRM panels 2279L & 2287L) specifically described as: On Parcel: 132-13-0750 within the Wash Flood Hazard Area within Greyhound Wash in the Mission View Wash Watershed on property indicated as THE BRIDGES BLOCK 10, located at 3300 S Park Av, Tucson Arizona 85713 within Township 14S, Range 14E, Section 30; for the purpose of special grading related improvements, including clearing & grubbing in specified areas to remove unauthorized structures and dumped materials in a local flood hazard area. The applicant agrees to comply with City of Tucson Floodplain and Erosion Hazard Area Regulations, and is bound by the conditions stated below. Violation of any of the conditions stated or referred to below, as determined by the City Engineer, shall be grounds for revocation of this permit. Responsibility for renewal of this permit, if necessary, is with the applicant. Issuance of this permit does not constitute a waiver of other requirements contained in the Tucson City Code, Land Use Code, or any other Federal, State, or local regulation. No use other than as permitted herein is allowed. Additional uses allowed under City of Tucson Floodplain and Erosion Hazard Regulations require application for, review and approval of an additional Floodplain Use Permit. This floodplain use permit is issued with the following 7 conditions: 1) This project is a short term grading permit located in the Bridges Block 10 area which is within PAD 15. 2) This Floodplain Use Permit T15OT00923 is issued concurrently with the associated improvement plans/permit DP15-0104. Copies of these documents shall be kept in a readily accessible location on site at all times. 3) Call for PDSD Engineering Inspections at pre-con meeting and at final grading stage. See conditions in DP15-0104. All work shall conform to the attached plans which are made part of this permit. The applicant attests to the fact that the plans and documents submitted represent all of the improvements that will be done to the site, and that all additions, improvements or repairs are included in the construction plans and/or documents herewith. No other improvements, repairs, or reconstruction will be or have been made to the site that is not indicated in the attached, or previously approved, plans and documents. This permit is specific to the improvements as indicated on the approved plans. It shall not apply to any other property, whether attached or unattached, not specified under this permit. 4) Within 5 (five) days of issuance of this permit, and continuing through to the completion of the project, notification must be posted and maintained in a conspicuous place on the job site stating "Construction proceeding under requirements of City of Tucson Floodplain Use Permit No. T15OT00923. For information please call 791-5550." 5) Except as approved by the City Engineer prior to the start of construction, development under this permit shall not obstruct, retard or divert the existing flow of floodwaters from or to adjacent properties. The existing drainage patterns at the property lines shall not be obstructed nor changed. 6) Temporary erosion/sediment controls may be used at downstream locations within the disturbance limits, however, any interim controls may need to be removed daily after construction activity in floodplain locations where monsoon stormwater runoff may be expected, and then re-established for commencement of work the following day. 7) This permit expires July 15, 2016. If extension is not requested prior to expiration date, renewal of this permit will require a new application, review and approval of that application by the Planning & Development Services Department, Engineering Division. This permit may be renewed for up to one year, at the sole discretion of the City Engineer or designated representatives.
