| 11/03/2014 | November 3, 2014 (No Elevation Certificates Required) Floodplain Use Permits T14OT01369, T14OT01370 and T14OT01372 These permits are for a wall bordering the Saint Mary's Road improvements and adjacent to 307 West 6th Street, 309 West 6th Street and 433 North Main Avenue. The location of the wall is within FEMA Special Flood Hazard Area AE, Panel 2276L. The wall does not constitute a structure under the City of Tucson Floodplain regulations or under the NFIP guidelines. Drainage improvements under the Arroyo Chico Multi-Use Project and in anticipation of the Downtown Links project have reduced the flood potential for this area. No adverse impact is anticipated from the construction of the proposed walls. A change of scope for these walls will require additional floodplain review and approval. |
