12/04/2014 | The floodplain use permits are issued with the following 12 conditions: 1) These permits becomes invalid and is subject to additional floodplain review, if any required development changes the construction activities at the site, or, if there is any further disturbance within the floodplain other than that outlined in this application. These floodplain use permits may be subject to conditions or restrictions designed to reduce or mitigate the potential damage or hazard to life or property resulting from the storage of materials on the site within the regulatory floodplain, floodway or erosion hazard areas as determined by the project engineer and accepted by the City of Tucson. 2) See conditions for elevating and anchoring, on the approved plans, for restrictions of storage of materials within the floodplain. 3) All work shall conform to the approved plan sheets prepared by Jeff Stanley P.E., which are made part of this permit. T14OT01204 is the floodplain use permit for on-site storage in a jurisdictional floodplain, and T14OT01210 is the El Cert for the existing building in a shallow 1-ft or less deep floodplain. Return completed El Cert to PDSD Engineering. 4) Any walls must be constructed with drainage vents in the wall every 5-foot off center or per the legend on the site plan. 5) Within 5 (five) days of issuance of these permits, and through completion of the project, notification must be posted and maintained in a conspicuous place on the job site stating "CONSTRUCTION PROCEEDING UNDER REQUIREMENTS OF CITY OF TUCSON FLOODPLAIN USE PERMITS # T14OT01210 and T14OT01204 FOR INFORMATION PLEASE CALL 791-5550." 6) This Floodplain Use Permits and plans shall be kept in a readily accessible location on site at all times. 7) Any additional future disturbance of the floodplain shall have separate floodplain use permit applications submitted to this office for review and approval. 8) See the associated activity DP12-0120. 9) These permits is specific to the improvements for 1825 W Price Rd as indicated on the approved plans. It shall not apply to any other structure or property, whether attached or unattached, not specified under these permits. 10) The applicant attests to the fact that the plans and documents submitted represent all of the improvements that will be done to the existing building, and that all additions, improvements or repairs to the building are included in the construction plans and/or documents herewith. No other improvements, repairs, reconstruction, additions or remodeling have been made to the structure that is not indicated in the attached plans and/or documents. 11) Renewal of these permits will require a new application, review and approval of that application by the City of Tucson, Planning & Development Services Department, Engineering Division. These permits may be renewed for up to one year at the sole discretion of the City Engineer or designated representatives. 12) Except as approved by the City Engineer prior to the start of construction, development under this permit shall not obstruct, retard or divert the existing flow of floodwaters from or to adjacent properties. The Floodplain Use Permits will be automatically revoked and becomes invalid if conditions are not complied with, as set forth in these permits. |
