Referred project to CHPO for review of historic aspect with the proposed non illuminated plastic sign and mounting 12/9/13. 12/9/13: CHPO has advised the project will require full review in public meeting with Tucson Pima County Historical Commission (TPCHC) because the building is on the National Register and in Downtown Rio Nuevo. Items below needed to process application further and proceed to historic review process. On permit application - 1) frontage (i.e. length of your space's building wall that faces 6th Ave 2) elevation where sign is going (i.e. east) 3) valuation (i.e. value of the sign including install - cannot exceed $750.00 without a licensed contractor obtaining the permit) 4) your autograph 5) NOTE: if someone other than you plans to install the sign, they need to actually submit the application and the permit should be issued in their name and they should sign it. They can authorize you to submit the permit in their name by sending an email to me or a signed letter to you or me. 6) ALSO: Clarify what the number 12 is supposed to reference on the location map please (see box referencing your suite - is your suite really only 12 feet wide??? ) 7) I cannot find any reference in our systems to a "suite 200" at this building.
