| 09/04/2012 | September 4, 2012 (No special Inspection Required). The applicant is authorized to use a portion of the flood hazard area (FEMA Zone AH, Panel 2279L) in the City of Tucson on the property at 2241 East Parkway Terrace, Tucson Arizona for the purpose of installation of a solar photovoltaic system to an existing residential building. The applicant agrees to comply with City of Tucson Floodplain and Erosion Hazard regulations, and is particularly bound by the conditions stated below. Violation of any of the conditions stated or referred to below, as determined by the City Engineer, shall be grounds for revocation of this permit. Responsibility for renewal of this permit, if necessary, is with the applicant. Issuance of this permit does not constitute a waiver of other requirements contained in the Tucson City Code, Land Use Code, or any other Federal, State, or local regulation. No use other than as permitted herein is allowed. Additional uses allowed under City of Tucson Floodplain and Erosion Hazard Regulations and Watercourse Amenities, Safety, and Habitat regulations require the issuance of an additional Floodplain Use Permit. The following conditions shall apply to this permit. 1. All work shall conform to the attached plans (T12CM05508) which are made part of this permit. 2. The construction cost of the improvements shall not exceed 50% of the total appraised/assessed value of the existing structure, not including the land. Estimated cost of improvement is $15,727. Assessed value (2012) of the existing improvements, excluding the value of the land is approximately $81,966 which is 65 percent of the full cash value of the property. The cost of the improvements is approximately 19.2 percent of the value of the existing structure. 3. Except as approved by the City Engineer prior to the start of construction, development under this permit shall not obstruct, retard or divert the existing flow of floodwaters from or to adjacent properties. 4. This permit becomes invalid and is subject to additional floodplain review, if any required development permit (s') changes the configuration of the structure and or site development. 5. Any patio walls to be constructed will require a separate Floodplain Use Permit. This Floodplain Use Permit will be automatically revoked and becomes invalid if conditions set forth in this permit are not complied with. |
