| 03/28/2012 | March 28, 2012 The applicant is authorized to use a portion of the flood hazard area in the City of Tucson on the property described as 3300 East Seneca Street, for the purpose of constructing improvements to an existing wall and fence at a residential property. The applicant agrees to comply with City of Tucson Floodplain and Erosion Hazard, is particularly bound by the conditions stated below. Violation of any of the conditions stated or referred to below, as determined by the City Engineer, shall be grounds for revocation of this permit. Responsibility for renewal of this permit, if necessary, is with the applicant. Issuance of this permit does not constitute a waiver of other requirements contained in the Tucson City Code, Land Use Code, or any other Federal, State, or local regulation. No use other than as permitted herein is allowed. Additional uses allowed under City of Tucson Floodplain and Erosion Hazard Regulations and Watercourse Amenities, Safety, and Habitat regulations require the issuance of an additional Floodplain Use Permit. The following conditions shall apply to this permit. 1. All work shall conform to the attached plans (T12BU01489) which are made part of this permit. 2. The construction of the additional wall on top of the existing wall has no significant impact on the floodplain and no further conditions are required. The new wall or fence must be constructed to allow for flowage of water through the wall or fence. If a fence is constructed, the wood shall be installed leaving gaps between planks to allow drainage. If a new wall is constructed, drainage blocks or other drainage openings shall be provided at least once every feet. 3. The existing drainage patterns at the property lines shall not be obstructed or changed except as shown on the approved plan. 4. Except as approved by the City Engineer prior to the start of construction, development under this permit shall not obstruct, retard or divert the existing flow of floodwaters from or to adjacent properties. 5. This permit becomes invalid and is subject to additional floodplain review, if any required development permit (s') changes the configuration of the structure and or site development. This Floodplain Use Permit will be automatically revoked and becomes invalid if conditions set forth in this permit are not complied with. |
