03/09/2012 | March 9, 2012 (No special Inspection Required). The applicant is authorized to use a portion of the flood hazard area (Zone AE, Panel 2276L) in the City of Tucson on the property described as 101 West 6th Street, for the purpose of making repairsto an existing commercial building. The applicant agrees to comply with City of Tucson Floodplain and Erosion Hazard, and Watercourse Amenities, Safety and Habitat regulations, and is particularly bound by the conditions stated below. Violation of any of the conditions stated or referred to below, as determined by the City Engineer, shall be grounds for revocation of this permit. Responsibility for renewal of this permit, if necessary, is with the applicant. Issuance of this permit does not constitute a waiver of other requirements contained in the Tucson City Code, Land Use Code, or any other Federal, State, or local regulation. No use other than as permitted herein is allowed. Additional uses allowed under City of Tucson Floodplain and Erosion Hazard Regulations and Watercourse Amenities, Safety, and Habitat regulations require the issuance of an additional Floodplain Use Permit. The following conditions shall apply to this permit. (Or refer to Tucson City Code Chapter 26) 1. All work shall conform to the attached plans (T12CM00960) which are made part of this permit. 2. The structure is a contributing structure to the Warehouse Historic District. All repairs and improvements must be completed in a manner to preserve the historic character of the structure and the historic district. 3. The existing drainage patterns at the property lines shall not be obstructed or changed. 4. Except as approved by the City Engineer prior to the start of construction, development under this permit shall not obstruct, retard or divert the existing flow of floodwaters from or to adjacent properties. 5. This permit becomes invalid and is subject to additional floodplain review, if any required development permit (s') changes the configuration of the structure and or site development. 6. Any patio walls to be constructed will require a separate Floodplain Use Permit. The applicant is authorized by the City Engineer to receive a floodplain use permit subject to the above referenced conditions and restrictions. |
