Only one lock for the securing of an exiting door is allowed 3.) Panic hardware is required for all secondary exit doors. 4.) Working emergency back-up lighting is required for both required exit doors. a.) Need a emergency back-up light for the main exit door. b.) Back-up light for the required 2nd. exit needs repairs. 5.) Slide-bolt locking devices are not allowed on any exiting door. 6.) Exit doors must open readily. The required 2nd. exit door (NW wall) is hard to open. 7.) The panic hardware device on the 2nd. exit door needs repairs. 8.) Panic hardware security device shall be the only locking device for that particular door. Door must open, only, upon pushing on panic hardware bar. Must remove the door knob. 9.) All exiting doors must swing open in the direction of egress travel. 10.) Gates for exterior enclosed areas (patios) that are part of the egress path must be readily openable. If the gate is secured, it must be provided with panic hardware. 11.) Compressed gas cylinders must be secured. 12.) Wrought iron security doors must be removed. |
