09/09/2010 1) Call for Pre-construction meeting. Discuss during Pre-con or contact PDSD Engineering Inspector to confirm which grading inspections may be needed. For a PDSD Engineering Inspection, call IVR (740-6970), or schedule with a Customer Service Representative at Planning & Development Services Department (PDSD), or contact PDSD Engineering at 837-4888, or schedule inspections online at: http://www.ci.tucson.az.us/dsd/Online_Services/Online_Permits/online_permits.html 2) Separate building permit applications / reviews are required for any walls. 3) Temporary erosion/sediment control shall be located within grading limits. 4) Construction staging areas, construction materials, and vehicle parking shall be located within grading limits. 5) Exceeding grading limit disturbance may result in Stop Work Order or require re-submittal of grading plans for re-review. 6) A geotechnical addenda will be required if constructed slopes exceed 2:1(H:V) for fill or 1:1(H:V) for cut. 7) Per HDZ requirements, all rip rapped slopes shall have handplaced stone with filter fabric or handplaced grouted stone. 8) A copy of stamped approved grading plans, permits, and reports shall be kept at site at all times, until final grading approval. 9) As-builts are required to be submitted under activity number T09BU00580 to PDSD permit clerks. They will be reviewed and then if acceptable, a copy will be provided to PDSD Engineering Inspector for final grading inspections. For Permit Project Closure documentation, submit: 2 copies of as-built final revised grading plans and any applicable geotechnical addenda.
