02/04/2009 | February 4, 2009 The applicant is authorized to use a portion of the flood hazard area (City of Tucson) in the City of Tucson, Arizona, on the property described as 2501 North Flowing Wells Road for the installation of cellular phone antennas and equipment. The applicant agrees to comply with City of Tucson Floodplain and Erosion Hazard regulations, and is particularly bound by the conditions stated below. Violation of any of the conditions stated or referred to below, as determined by the City Engineer, shall be grounds for revocation of this permit. Responsibility for renewal of this permit, if necessary, is with the applicant. Issuance of this permit does not constitute a waiver of other requirements contained in the Tucson City Code, Land Use Code, or any other Federal, State, or local regulation. No use other than as permitted herein is allowed. Additional uses allowed under City of Tucson Floodplain and Erosion Hazard Regulations require the issuance of an additional Floodplain Use Permit. The following conditions shall apply to this permit. 1. All work shall conform to the approved improvement plans which are made part of this permit (T08CM02534) which is for installation of antennas and equipment cabinets. 2. All equipment and electrical connections shall be a minimum of 18 inches above the adjacent grade or otherwise protected against floodwaters to a minimum or 18 inches above adjacent grade. The elevation or floodproofing shall be established by a signed certification and photographs of the installation. 3. Except as approved by the City Engineer prior to the start of construction, development under this permit shall not obstruct, retard or divert the existing flow of floodwaters from or to adjacent properties. 4. Any additional improvements not reflected in the current permit will be subject to separate review and additional permits. 5. This permit becomes invalid and is subject to additional floodplain review, if any required improvement permit(s') changes the configuration of the structure and or site development. This Floodplain Use Permit will be automatically revoked and becomes invalid for non-compliance to conditions set forth in this permit. The applicant is authorized by the City Engineer to receive a floodplain use permit subject to the above referenced conditions and restrictions. |
