12/04/2007 | December 4, 2007 (Special Inspection Required) The applicant is authorized to use a portion of the flood hazard area (FEMA Zone AE, FIRM 04019C2226 K) ) in the City of Tucson, Arizona, on the property described as 370 North Main Avenue for the purpose of constructing a new single family residence along with associated site and right of way improvements. The applicant agrees to comply with City of Tucson Floodplain and Erosion Hazard regulations, and are particularly bound by the conditions stated below. Violation of any of the conditions stated or referred to below, as determined by the City Engineer, shall be grounds for revocation of this permit. Responsibility for renewal of this permit, if necessary, is with the applicant. Issuance of this permit does not constitute a waiver of other requirements contained in the Tucson City Code, Land Use Code, or any other Federal, State, or local regulation. No use other than as permitted herein is allowed. Additional uses allowed under City of Tucson Floodplain and Erosion Hazard Regulations and Watercourse Amenities, Safety, and Habitat regulations require the issuance of an additional Floodplain Use Permit. The following conditions shall apply to this permit. 1. All work shall conform to the improvement plans submitted as Activity T07CM04518 which is made part of this permit. 2. The lowest finished floor and all associated facilities of the buildings in the property under this permit shall be placed a minimum of 2354.9 feet above mean sea level, NGVD 1929 (as determined from the Flood Insurance Study ), as Certified by a Registered Land Surveyor. This certification shall be completed and submitted before the slab is poured and again when the house is ready for final inspection. The certification must be completed and returned to the Development Services Dept., Engineering Section on the 1st. Floor of the County/City Public Works Building at 201 N. Stone Avenue. 3. Except as approved by the City Engineer prior to the start of construction, development under this permit shall not obstruct, retard or divert the existing flow of floodwaters from or to adjacent properties. 4. Any additional development including construction of walls or fences will require separate floodplain use permits 5. This permit becomes invalid and is subject to additional floodplain review, if any required development permit(s') changes the configuration of the structure and or site development. This Floodplain Use Permit will be automatically revoked and becomes invalid for non-compliance to conditions set forth in this permit. Also, this permit will expire one year from its date of issue. Renewal of this permit will require a new application, review and approval of that application by the City of Tucson, Development Services Department, Engineering Section. Note: Final inspection or certificate of occupancy will be on hold until the Elevation Certificate is completed and returned to our office. The applicant is authorized by the City Engineer to receive a floodplain use permit subject to the above referenced conditions and restrictions. |
