Rosewood St. PROPERTY OWNER'S NAME: Greg Walker The applicant is authorized to use a portion of the flood hazard area in the City of Tucson on the property described as (legal description): W2 NW4 SE4 NE4 EXC N30' FOR RD H 4.77 AC P 23-10-14-15 This permit is for the purpose of construction of an accessory structure (activity room) within a mapped Special Flood Hazard Area (SFHA) Zone AE, as shown on the Flood Insurance Rate Map (FIRM), Community Panel No. 040076-04019C-2256K, effective date February 8, 1999 The applicant agrees to comply with the City of Tucson's Floodplain, Stormwater and Erosion Hazard Management Ordinance and the Watercourse Amenities, Safety and Habitat regulations, and are particularly bound by the conditions stated below. Violation of any of the conditions stated or referred to below, as determined by the City Engineer, shall be grounds for revocation of this permit. Responsibility for renewal of this permit, if necessary, is with the applicant. Issuance of this permit does not constitute a waiver of other requirements contained in the Tucson City Code, Land Use Code, or any other Federal, State, or local regulation. No use other than as permitted herein is allowed. Additional uses allowed under City of Tucson's Floodplain, Stormwater and Erosion Hazard Management Ordinance and the Watercourse Amenities, Safety and Habitat regulations require the issuance of an additional Floodplain Use Permit. The following conditions shall apply to this permit. (Or refer to Chapter 26 page 35) 1. The top of the lowest finished floor (FFE) shall be elevated to a minimum 2641.8 feet above mean sea level per the National Geodetic Vertical Datum (NGVD '29). 2. Service facilities, such as electrical, heating and cooling equipment, shall be constructed at or above the same minimum elevation as the FFE and either be placed on flood proof materials or be adequately flood proofed. 3. A Building-Under-Construction Elevation Certificate, completed and certified by an Arizona Registered Land Surveyor, must be returned to the Engineering Division of the Development Services Department prior to the pouring of the concrete slab. A hold will be placed on the prior-to-slab inspection (P2S) until the Elevation Certificate has been returned and approved. 4. A Finished-Construction Elevation Certificate, completed and certified by an Arizona Registered Land Surveyor, must be returned to the Engineering Division of the Development Services Department prior to any final inspections. A hold will be placed on final inspections until the Elevation Certificate has been returned and approved. 5. All work shall conform to the approved improvement plans and Drainage Statement prepared by JE Fuller Hydrology & Geomorphology, Inc., sealed by Thomas J. Patterson, P.E., dated 3/22/06, and subsequent addendum by John Wallace, P.E. of JE Fuller Hydrology & Geomorphology, Inc., dated 8/1/06 (email), which are made part of this permit. 6. All work shall be performed so that the amount of disturbance to the floodplain will be minimal. 7. The existing drainage patterns within the Hidden Hills Wash shall not be obstructed. 8. Except as approved by the City Engineer prior to the start of construction, development under this permit shall not obstruct, retard or divert the existing flow of floodwaters from or to adjacent properties. 9. This permit becomes invalid and is subject to additional floodplain review, if any required development permit(s) changes the configuration of the structure and or site development. 10. This Floodplain Use Permit will be automatically revoked and becomes invalid if conditions set forth in this permit are not complied with. Also, this permit will expire one year from its date of issue. Renewal of this permit will require a new application, review and approval of that application by the City of Tucson, Development Services Department, Engineering Section. 11. Within 5 (five) days of issuance of this permit, through completion of the project, notification must be posted and maintained in a conspicuous place on the job site stating "Construction proceeding under requirements of City of Tucson Floodplain Use Permit No. T06OT01853.
