Permanent C of O not to be issued until special exception process for 5 drop off zones on 7th Ave.
Zoning inspection results: June 18, 2010

After my site inspection on June 18, 2010 I have determined that zoning cannot approve the application for a permanent C of O until the following items are addressed.

1. The handi-cap parking must be available at all times unless used by driver with a HC plate or placard. On the site inspection it was noticed that the school bus was parked in one of the HC spaces.

2. One and possibly two of the covered parking spaces were not accessible due to materials in the spaces. These spaces are part of the number required spaces and must be clear and available at all times.

3. The access aisles and path must be re-striped to ensure visibility.

4. The parking spaces should also be re-striped where the striping has disappeared due to traffic and wear on the striping.

5. The biggest issue is the drop off zones. The zones were not striped on the street and now there is no place for the drop off zones due to back up parking spaces striped by the City of Tucson. As of this review this site does not provide for the required drop off zones and a Board of Adjustment variance would be required to eliminate them.

6. Please review the approved site plan and complete address the items listed and call for a zoning inspection once the items have been completed. I acknowledge that the drop off zone item will be a major issue.
