07/12/2004 July 6, 2003 FLOODPLAIN USE PERMIT # T04OT001077 PROJECT ADDRESS: 8302 E BROADWAY BL TUCSON 85710 PROPERTY OWNER'S NAME: ARIZONA CHRISTIAN MISSIONARY SOC The applicant is authorized to use a portion of the flood hazard area in the City of Tucson, Arizona, on the property described as: Saguaro Christian Church at 8302 East Broadway Boulevard, Tucson Arizona 85710, at the southeast corner of East Broadway Boulevard and South Sarnoff Drive, in Ward 2, within the north portion of Township 14 South, Range 15 East, Section 16, Lat. 32° 13' 15" Long. 110° 48' 50", 134-09-0010, for the purpose of construction and placement of a sign within the floodplain for the Saguaro Christian Church project. The applicant agrees to comply with City of Tucson Floodplain and Erosion Hazard, and Watercourse Amenities, Safety and Habitat regulations, and are particularly bound by the conditions stated below. Violation of any of the conditions stated or referred to below, as determined by the City Engineer, shall be grounds for revocation of this permit. Responsibility for renewal of this permit, if necessary, is with the applicant. Issuance of this permit does not constitute a waiver of other requirements contained in the Tucson City Code, Land Use Code, or any other Federal, State, or local regulation. No use other than as permitted herein is allowed. Additional uses allowed under City of Tucson Floodplain and Erosion Hazard Regulations and Watercourse Amenities, Safety, and Habitat regulations require the issuance of an additional Floodplain Use Permit. The following 7 conditions apply to this permit. (see Tucson Code of Ordinances Chapter 26) 1) All work shall conform to the original Drainage Report (dated 3-4-3); as well as the CLOMR-F (dated March 10, 2003, case # 02-09-1028C). Associated permits include: T02BU02343, T02CM04034, and T02CM04035. 2) Any structure shall be placed as specified by the registrant for the project, and shall not obstruct sight visibility triangles. 3) Within 5 (five) days of issuance of this permit, through completion of the project, notification must be posted and maintained in a conspicuous place on the job site stating "CONSTRUCTION PROCEEDING UNDER REQUIREMENTS OF CITY OF TUCSON FLOODPLAIN USE PERMIT # T04OT01077. FOR INFORMATION PLEASE CALL 791-5550." 4) This permit becomes invalid and is subject to additional floodplain review, if any required development permit changes the configuration of the structures and / or site development, or, if there is any further disturbance within the floodplain. 5) Except as approved by the City Engineer prior to the start of construction, development under this permit shall not obstruct, retard or divert the existing flow of floodwaters from or to adjacent properties. The existing drainage patterns at the property lines shall be maintained as indicated on the approved grading plans. 6) Right-of-way Use Permits may be required for any construction within the public right-of-way. Contact City of Tucson Permits and Codes (791-5100) for information about right-of-way permitting. 7) Please call Development Services Department at 791-5550 or 740-6970 (IVR) for inspection prior to any wall construction. Any future walls to be constructed will require a separate grading and building permit. This Floodplain Use Permit will be automatically revoked and becomes invalid for non-compliance to conditions set forth in this permit. Also, this permit will expire one year from its date of issue. Renewal of this permit will require a new application, review and approval of that application by the Engineering Section of the Development Services Department for the City of Tucson.
