PROPERTY OWNER: City of Tucson The applicant is authorized to use a portion of the City of Tucson Special Flood Hazard Area, specifically described as: PT SW4 SEC 2 & PT OF SE4 SEC 3 PT NE4 OF SEC 10 & PT NW4 SEC 11 120.88 AC SEC 3-14-13 (RD 8076/2856 7/14/87) For the purpose of: grading of tee areas in the El Rio Wash floodplain. The applicant agrees to comply with City of Tucson Floodplain and Erosion Hazard Regulations, and is bound by the conditions stated herein. Violation of any of the conditions stated or referred to below, as determined by the City Engineer, shall be grounds for revocation of this permit. Responsibility for renewal of this permit, if necessary, is with the applicant. Issuance of this permit does not constitute a waiver of other requirements contained in the Tucson City Code, Land Use Code, or any other Federal, State, or local regulation. No use other than as permitted herein is allowed. Additional uses allowed under City of Tucson Floodplain and Erosion Hazard Area Regulations require application for, review and approval of an additional Floodplain Use Permit. 1) Proposed grading within the regulatory floodplain may not occur between the monsoon season, and must conform to grading as indicated on the stamped, approved grading plans/permit. Contact Development Services Department (DSD) Grading Inspector(s) at 791-5550 prior to, and upon completion of grading within the floodplain, for DSD Engineering Division inspections. 2) All work shall conform to the stamped/approved grading plans (DSD Activity # T03BU03195) for The First Tee of Tucson at El Rio Golf Course, which are made part of this permit. 3) Except as may be approved by the City Engineer prior to the start of construction, development under this permit shall not obstruct, retard or divert the existing flow of floodwaters from or to adjacent properties. 4) Within 5 (five) days of issuance of this permit, through completion of the project, notification must be posted and maintained in a conspicuous place on the job site stating "CONSTRUCTION PROCEEDING UNDER REQUIREMENTS OF CITY OF TUCSON FLOODPLAIN USE PERMIT # T04OT00445 - FOR INFORMATION PLEASE CALL 791-5550." 5) A right-of-way permit is required for any development, excavation, or construction activity that may be necessary within the public right of way. Contact Tucson Department of Transportation - Permits and Codes Section, Engineering Division at 791-5100 for questions relating to right of way permit information. 6) This permit is subject to an additional floodplain permit application and review, if any proposed or required modifications are necessary within the regulatory floodplain that may cause a need for revisions to the approved plans. The applicant is authorized by the City Engineer to receive a floodplain use permit subject to the above referenced conditions and restrictions.
