Speedway Boulevard PROPERTY OWNER'S NAME: April A. Worden The applicant is authorized to use a portion of the flood hazard area in the City of Tucson on the property described as: RINCALINA III, LOTS 2A & 2B, BEING A RESUBDIVISION OF LOTS 2A & 2B OF RICALINA II AS RECORDED IN BOOK 42, AT PAGE 26, MAPS & PLATS, SECTION 10, T-14-S, R-15-E, G.&S.R.M., PIMA COUNTY, ARIZONA for the purpose of installing a Footbridge across a an unnamed wash to connect Lots 2A and 2B. The applicant agrees to comply with City of Tucson Floodplain and Erosion Hazard, and Watercourse Amenities, Safety and Habitat regulations, and are particularly bound by the conditions stated below. Violation of any of the conditions stated or referred to below, as determined by the City Engineer, shall be grounds for revocation of this permit. Responsibility for renewal of this permit, if necessary, is with the applicant. Issuance of this permit does not constitute a waiver of other requirements contained in the Tucson City Code, Land Use Code, or any other Federal, State, or local regulation. No use other than as permitted herein is allowed. Additional uses allowed under City of Tucson Floodplain and Erosion Hazard Regulations and Watercourse Amenities, Safety, and Habitat regulations require the issuance of an additional Floodplain Use Permit. The following conditions shall apply to this permit. 1. All work shall conform to the attached plans, which are made part of this permit. 2. The Developer must obtain from City of Tucson Transportation Department, a Temporary Revocable Easement within which the bridge shall be constructed. 3. Any proposed fill and/or backfill shall be compacted to a minimum of 95% density. 4. The lowest part of the proposed footbridge shall a minimum of 1' above the existing channel top of bank. This requirement includes all utilities that may be attached to the bridge. 5. The proposed bridge shall not alter or obstruct the existing drainage patterns within and outside the channel. 6. The bridge abutments shall be installed at least 3 feet behind the concrete lining top. 7. Within 5 (five) days of issuance of this permit, through completion of the project, notification must be posted and maintained in a conspicuous place on the job site stating "Construction proceeding under requirements of City of Tucson Floodplain Use Permit No. T04OT00246. For information please call 791-5550." 7. Except as approved by the City Engineer prior to the start of construction, development under this permit shall not obstruct, retard or divert the existing flow of floodwaters from or to adjacent properties. 8. This permit becomes invalid and is subject to additional floodplain review, if any required development permit (s') changes the configuration of the structure and or site development. This Floodplain Use Permit will be automatically revoked and becomes invalid if conditions set forth in this permit are not complied with. Also, this permit will expire one year from its date of issue. Renewal of this permit will require a new application, review and approval of that application by the City of Tucson, Development Services Department, Engineering Section.
