Anita Ave. PROPERTY OWNER'S NAME: Steve & Lourdes Delgado The applicant is authorized to use a portion of the flood hazard area in the City of Tucson, Arizona, on the property described as: MCKINLEY PARK AMENDED SLY PTN OF LOT 32 BLK 1 for the purpose of constructing a single family residence The applicant agrees to comply with City of Tucson Floodplain and Erosion Hazard Management regulations, and is particularly bound by the conditions stated below. Violation of any of the conditions stated or referred to below, as determined by the City Engineer, shall be grounds for revocation of this permit. Responsibility for renewal of this permit, if necessary, is with the applicant. Issuance of this permit does not constitute a waiver of other requirements contained in the Tucson City Code, Land Use Code, or any other Federal, State, or local regulation. No use other than as permitted herein is allowed. Additional uses allowed under City of Tucson Floodplain and Erosion Hazard Management Regulations require a new application, approval, and issuance of an additional Floodplain Use Permit. The following conditions apply to this permit (see Tucson Code of Ordinances Chapter 26): 1) The structure, all electrical equipment, machinery and associated equipment under this permit shall be placed upon a dirt, concrete, or similar type solid pad to a minimum of two (2) feet above existing grade. Certification of the lowest floor elevation of the structure and machinery and equipment (furnaces, hot water heaters, heat pumps, air conditioners and their associated equipment - including all electrical equipment) in an attached garage or enclosure, or on an open utility platform that provide utility services for the building, shall be certified by a state-registered land surveyor on the attached elevation certificate. The elevation certificate must be fully completed, signed and certified by the registrant upon completion of construction of the structure. The completed elevation certificate must be returned to Engineering Division, Development Services Department, at the City/County Public Works building - 201 N. Stone Ave., 1st floor. A hold will be placed on the final inspection until a properly completed elevation certificate is returned to this office. 2) All work shall conform to the attached site plan and hydrology report prepared by Bogardus Engineering LLC, sealed on December 8, 2003, and addendum letter dated February 3, 2004, which are made a part of this permit. 3) The existing drainage patterns at the property lines shall not be obstructed, other than as may be shown on the attached site plan and/or described in the hydrology report. 4) Except as approved by the City Engineer prior to the start of construction, development under this permit shall not obstruct, retard or divert the existing flow of floodwaters from or to adjacent properties. 5) Within 5 (five) days of issuance of this permit, through completion of the project, notification must be posted and maintained in a conspicuous place on the job site stating "CONSTRUCTION PROCEEDING UNDER REQUIREMENTS OF CITY OF TUCSON FLOODPLAIN USE PERMIT # T03OT02196. FOR INFORMATION PLEASE CALL 791-5550." 6) A right-of-way permit is required for any development, excavation, or construction activity within the right of way. Contact Tucson Department of Transportation - Permits and Codes Section, Engineering Division at 791-5100 for questions relating to right of way permit information. 7) This permit becomes invalid and is subject to an additional floodplain permit application and review, if any proposed or required modifications change the configuration of the structure and/or site development. 8) Any walls to be proposed will require a separate floodplain use permit application and approval prior to construction. This permit will expire one year from its date of issue. Renewal of this permit will require a new application, review, and approval by the City of Tucson, Development Services Department, Engineering Division.
