Date Name
01/05/2015 The following 11 conditions apply to permits DP14-0149:1)Call for Pre-construction meeting. For a City of Tucson Planning & Development Services Department (PDSD) Engineering Inspection, call IVR (740-6970), or schedule with a Customer Service Representative at the Planning & Development Services Department - Angie 837-4917, or contact PDSD Engineering at 837-4888, or schedule inspections online at: http://www.ci.tucson.az.us/dsd/Online_Services/Online_Permits/online_permits.html 2)PDSD Inspector shall be called to inspect special grading/drainage improvements, such as drainage systems and protective infrastructure when under construction. 3)Copy of approved plan/permit DP14-0149 shall be kept at site at all times until final grading approval. These plans act as the approved grading plan for PPP NE Pads at Sorrento Square sealed by Jeffrey P Hunt P.E. on 12.29.2014.4)There shall be no disturbance outside of disturbance/grading limits as shown on approved grading and SWPPP plans. 5)Any downstream drainage facilities shall be completed, per previously approved Sorrento Square Rezoning conditions or other approved plans, before CofO is issued so that downstream drainage functions as intended and there are no adverse impacts to downstream property owners.6)Contact Permits & Codes (837-6606) for questions regarding City of Tucson right-of-way permit requirements. 7)Temporary erosion and sediment control devices shall be placed at locations where stormwater runoff exits grading limits to prevent debris, construction silt, and/or chemicals from entering streets or any drainage ways. Any interim erosion and sediment controls that are installed should be maintained, per approved SWPPP plans or Operator with consultation with EOR and Inspector as needed, at downstream areas of disturbance limits. These interim controls must be removed after all permanent controls have been established.8)If grading construction is expected to last longer than the expiration date of the grading permit, contact PDSD to renew/extend the Grading Permit. If Final Grading Inspection has not been completed before the Grading Permit expires, and the permit has not been renewed, additional fees and reviews may be required.9)Revisions to the design must be discussed with a Civil Engineer at PDSD Engineering Division, prior to any construction activity, to determine whether additional details, calculations, drainage report, or a revised grading plan is needed, or, whether changes may be provided on as-builts. 10)Permittee shall notify PDSD Inspector when grading operation is ready for final grading inspection. Final grading approval shall not be given until all work, including installation of all drainage improvements and their permanent protective devices, and all permanent erosion control measures have been completed in accordance with approved grading plan and grading permit, and all conditions of permit are completed. Any other exposed areas that are not reseeded shall be covered in gravel, unless other material is proposed, reviewed, and accepted by City of Tucson.11)Project Engineering completion letters, as well as Final Revised Grading Plan (as-builts) are required to be submitted prior to final Grading Inspection. Letter of certification from Engineer of Record for project substantial completion is required and submitted prior to final grading inspection. As-builts should include as-built elevations for finished drainage system inlets, outlet area, and other areas as deemed needed by surveyor, as well as sequence number(s) for any recorded easements not already provided.
