The applicants' property is an 11,872 square foot lot developed with a single-family residence. The applicants propose to demolish part of the existing dwelling and to construct a room addition and a garage on the east side of the dwelling. The applicants are requesting the following variances: 1) Reduce the setback of the garage to the front street lot line from eighteen (18') feet to four feet six inches (4'6"); 2) Reduce the setback of the garage and room addition to the east lot line from eight feet nine inches (8' 9") to six (6') feet.
