TR-ROW-0924-01053 Complete 09/13/2024 11/27/2024 Right-of-Way (ROW) This project encompasses the right of way on the west side of the Cul-de-Sac on N Belvedere Ave. between the 3rd street and the 2nd street ROW (alley). This area receives stormwater runoff as it flows from south to north on Belvedere, continuing northeast along the 2nd Street alley. A depressed area has formed at the northwest curve of the cul de sac which collects fine sediment and street oils and creates ponding for up to 72 hours after a rainfall, leaving a muddy residue. This project will transform the area to create an attractive viewpoint of the Santa Catalina Mountains, create a walking path, and to make beneficial use of the stormwater for native plantings. The plan includes removing 1500 SF of accumulated sediment to grade, moving an existing dumpster to the adjacent property, creating 2 stormwater harvesting basins at 6” depth (375 SF total), creating a 70’ long, 6’ wide berm/path, placing 25 2’-boulders and 2 3’-boulders, and spreading a 2” thick layer of wood mulch over a 530 SF area.
