Guest rooms shall have beds removed and labeled as rooms other than numbered guest rooms. Owner shall have hotel reduced to 19 rooms in 45 days. A list of fire alarm companies was e-mailed to owner if he decides to eventually move forward with a fire alarm installed. JH 2-26-15 45 days for room reduction is up. Owner would like 1 more week to complete reduction. JH 3-10-15 Room numbers have been removed from guest rooms as well as all beds removed. |

| 01/13/2015 | COT - FCOD - Fire Re-inspection | Completed | 01/09/15 GC: Spoke to Mr. Verduzco. We discussed the different options available for him to reach compliance. I informed him that Inspector Hinrichs will contact him and give him 45 days to get bids from alarm installation companies. At the end of the 45 days (around the third week of February) a company will be selected and a contract put into place. OR, he will remove beds and the like from 5 units to make the number of sleeping units 19 and compliant. JH 1/13/15 Also spoke with Rolando. I will send him an e-mail with infor on the re-inspection and fire alarm company info if he chooses to move forward eventually and have a fire alarm installed. |

| 12/22/2014 | COT - FCOD - Fire Re-inspection | Completed | JH 12-22-14 Re-contacted owner after initial discussion this morning. Rolando Verduzco took fire extinguishers to United Fire last week. Rolando Verduzco states United Fire gave him a quote of the cost of servicing fire extinguishers. However, Mr. Verduzco states he can not afford cost and has not paid for servicing and that he has no way of picking fire extinguishers up from Untied Fire. A pre-citiation will be e-mailed to Mr. Verduzco and he has until tomorrow(12-23-14, 12:00 pm) to have extinguishers in cabinets on hotel property. At this time, the only fire protection on property is smoke detectors. Owner is also required to have a manual fire alarm system installed that he would like to appeal. Have not received appeal from owner as of today(time 9:46 a.m.) | |
