| 09/16/2025 | COT - ENGR - Stormwater | Partial Pass | 9/16/25 54 inch GMP drainage structure. It is laid out in the middle of the PAAL of car wash. Half of structure is now installed with a minimum of 2.5 feet below grade. Trench dimensions are correct. The connections at collar bolts are tight and the 90° elbows look water tight. It is bedded correctly and shaded to the spring line with granular fill per plan. Structure is placed to survey offsets correctly. Contractor will send me photos of filter fabric placed per detail, before structure is backfilled. Other half of structure can then be trenched and installed after this half is backfilled. Contractor is currently getting permit for connection to a storm drain at right of way. He is unsure of who will be inspecting connections until he gets this permit. Backfill will be compacted per plan and inspected by third party. Submit compaction reports to city of Tucson before paving. Okay to Backfill. Call us back out to look at all catch basins and those associated with this detention structure and the other half when ready. |
