| 07/09/2024 | SITE - Zoning Compliance | Not Ready | I met with the Contractor to discuss the work that is to be performed under this Development Package. They have asked questions about the following 2 items, Excessive Parking Requirement for both Vehicles and Bicycles. We looked at the Calculations that have been noted on the Approved Plans. I have advised them that we can not make any changes in the field that is not Approved during the review process. I have advised them that they need to have the Engineer of Record make the necessary changes to the plans and submit them as revised plans and get them Reviewed and Approved before they start making the changes in the field. I have asked for them to contact Nicholas Ross and Stephen Blood and meet with them downtown to see what changes the City might be willing to accept, I spoke with David Rivera after the meeting was over to discuss some of the possible changes. on the Parking Calculations it shows that 26 Parking Places have been Approved but only 13 are required. a Also they are questioning the amount of Longterm and Short-term bicycle Parking spaces are required. They want to eliminate all bicycle parking if possible. They will be seeking to meet with Zoning and Engineering to see what can be done. |
