Anchor bolts shall be installed within 12" at the end of the sill plate and spaced no more than 6' apart. Additionally, whenever you have a splice at the plate, an anchor bolt is required within 12" on each side. Hangers must cover the full width of the rafters, missing 4" lag screws, footings must be exposed on each corner to verify depth (2' by 2' pockets), and a letter from a licensed contractor is required indicating that reinforcement on footers was done per approved plans. Remove sheathing from posts and nailing itself is calling for 6"o.c. Along all edges and 12" in the field. | |
