As mentioned from the inspection on 2-13-25, owner must expose footings along 4 sides to additions. Owner must either expose areas of covered construction throughout to verify that work was made by approved plans or provide several letters from licensed contractors which outline that framing, electrical, plumbing, mechanical were constructed to meet or exceeded requirements of the 2018 International Residential Code. The letters must be submitted to the city as an attachment, reviewed and approved. Additionally, a final building inspection would still be required. Note: home owner has installed an exhaust fan in the laundry, added hammer arrestors to the washer/dryer, added a GFCI receptacle, and replaced the awg wire in the storage to a 12/2 awg wire. |
