06/15/2026 COT - HCME - Mechanical Final  Partial Pass 6-15-26: mechanical final at 1st floor rooms approved. Properly secure mini splits to their base and provide a 3" clearance from grade. Seal behind HVAC disconnects and install permanent labeling. Disconnects must clearly identify their purpose. For example, A/C #1 and must identify the circuit-see NEC 110.22. Additionally, see IECC, Section's R403.4 & 403.4.1 for protection of piping insulation requirements.

2. FCU 5 and 6 for the attic do not have access per 2018 IMC 306.3:
- Need an unobstructed passageway, large enough to allow for removal of the largest appliance.
- Passageway shall not be less than 30 inches high and 22 inches wide and not more than 20 feet in length measured along the center line of the passageway from the opening to the appliance. Passageway, shall have continuous solid flooring, not less than 24 inches wide.
- A level working space not less than 30 inches deep and 30 inches wide shall be present at the front or service side of the appliance.
