Upon arrival it was found that an electrical short caused a fire which destroyed the sign face. The circut breakers tripped but not the Main. The structual integrity of the sign was determined to be sound. The manager (Chad Lange-325-5813) was instructed on site to leave the circuit breakers in the off position until a qualified person could look at them and the sign was taped off along with cones in order to protect the public. This case was then forwarded to Ken Bolle to inspect re electrical and Dave Johnston to inspect re sign issues. ELECTRICAL PERMITS SHALL BE REQUIRED PRIOR TO ELECT CONNECT AS WELL AS A SIGN PERMIT. | |
