Codes: Unified Development Code (UDC) 7A, Sign Standards, National Electrical Code (NEC) 600, Tucson - Pima County Outdoor Lighting Code (OLC) and International Building Code (2018) IBC
1. UDC:
A) As shown at present on the plans, the proposal exceeds allowed sign area for a 50' frontage tenant. However, the signage should be measured so the logo is boxed separately from the tenant name, as the logo is vertical, and the lettering is away from the logo. The plans show an area measured inclusive of a vast majority of negative space. Please revise the plan and the application to list 4 signs and their sign area. The proposal will meet sign are when this is updated. Thank you.
2. NEC / OLC:
A. Add note to indicate location of timer in the building
B. Add note to indicate location of the breaker panel in building
C. Add note to indicate all dedicated sign circuits will be labeled
D. Provide lock out for all wall signs with disconnect on interior
3: IBC: no comments
