Status: Partial Approval - sign area and signs allowed
1. UDC:
A) provide landlord permission for sign / raceway use
2. NEC:
A) Enlarge diagram for construction please (very hard to read the small font)
B) Note the location of the dedicated circuit / breaker panel for inspections
C) Unclear where the disconnect switch is for each of the 3 signs, if not on the raceway?
D) Note that safety lock outs will be provided for the shut off switches and breaker panel box
3: OLC:
A) acknowledged this establishment is open 24 hours, please just note the sign timer location.
B) provide note that should business hours change, that timers for signs A & B will be set to midnight curfew, and sign C would be removed
E) THIS PROJECT QUALIFIES FOR SELF-CERT INSPECTION
4: IBC:
A) Note how many screws provided typical per sign mount to raceway
B) provide stronger fasteners for sign mountings to building due to raceway additional weight and list number of fasteners per sign

Either schedule 09830 as a remote video inspection by leaving your date desired, and then include in the message your phone number and email address
OR
Email PDSDsigninspections@tucsonaz.gov
pictures of the following items to conduct the self-certification inspection:
Elevation view of installed signs to match approved plans
Angled pic of sign lettering to contain the UL sticker in install sticker
Shut off switch
labeled breaker panel - clearly ID signs, ID business location in pic
breaker panel switches in "on" position for signs
Pic of timer - ID shut off time set to, and ID business location in pic
Note that a lock out may be required, depending on location of shut off and location of sign.
