Sign Standards (UDC), National Electrical Code (NEC), Tucson-Pima County Outdoor Lighting Code (OLC), International Building Code (IBC) 2018 1) In electrical / mount detail, enlarge font to 12 point - extremely hard to read. 2) correct the address in the application 3) UDC: A. Provide location map view to include street to orient with the building frontage, unclear where you're taking frontage from. (If frontage is correct, sign area proposed is allowed.) 4) NEC: A) Note location of dedicated circuit / breaker panel for inspections B) Note the sign powerpack to be UL listed 5) OLC: A) all sign timers shall be set to a curfew time of midnight - note on plan B) note location of the timer for inspections 6) IBC: A) attachment detail does not seem to match description, as it is a 5" return and no backer panel is shown in the detail. Please provide detail that matches description. B) clarify wall surface to mount signs to, as both appear to have stucco surface and that is also not shown in the attachment detail C) please use stronger fasteners, i.e. thru or anchor bolts for these sign panels, not just screws (again probably different attachment diagram was shown) D) provide mount details for the power pack to the wall Please send revisions to Heather.Thrall@tucsonaz.gov |
