10/14/2022 COT - ENFC - Code Enforcement - Initial VIDAL Approved Entered by VIDAL - Communication called that T.F.D. and T.P.D. on site with a car into a house. Arrived and all the units still on site and the car was completely into the living room area. Hit a masonry wall and removed a 6040 XO window and the block that was underneath the window. The masonry wall has been pushed about an inch off the foundation on the west side of the window. The front door is wedged in place and the wall will have to be removed, approx. 14l.f. x 8' high due to cracks in the joints or the block is loose or has fallen. The northwest corner of the house has been damaged and has a box beam on top of the masonry wall for the roof system. On the west side of the masonry wall has been damaged and has cracks from where the wall has been pushed to the top of the roof, approx. 10l.f. x 8' from the middle of the wall. There is an outlet next to the damaged wall and still is connected. No damage to the heating and cooling or the plumbing. The water is still on and the electrical was turned off at the meter and will be turned back on. The owner has died and the son has also died and not able to find the rep. to locate for the house. Will leave the paperwork in the house. The front door not able to open due to is wedged from the damage of trhe masonry wall. Called Arcaiden Industries to the site to secure the house. RV.
10/14/2022 COT - ENFC - Code Enforcement - Initial In Violation Communication called that T.F.D. and T.P.D. on site with a car into a house. Arrived and all the units were still on site and T.F.D. was going to clear the site. The property was vacant and secured at the time of the accident. The car entered in the living room area through a masonry wall. A 6040 XO window was damaged. The wall on the side has been damaged and has cracking and some shifting in the wall approx. 6' into the wall. The front side has damage up to 12 l.f. from the corner to the front door. The owner is deceased and not able to find a next of kin. Called Arcaiden Industies to the site to have the house secured. Did the posting of Do Not Enter and the N.O.V. to Vacate and permits required on the front window. The interior has carpeting, paneling and some drywall has been damaged. The yard has tall grass and weeds and J.M.V.'s in the rear yard. The carport had a wood post knocked down and that was placed by up to support the roof in the carport.
