10/03/2022 | INSP - INITIAL CODE ENFORCMENT | Approved | VISITED SITE, A TRI-PLEX WITH TWO UNITS VACANT. I CONTACTED THE OWNER AND ASKED IF SHE HAD BEEN CONTACTED BY THE OCCUPANT AND SHE STATED SHE HAD NOT. I EXPLAINED THE PROBLEM OF THE BLACK WIDOW SPIDERS AND OWNER STATED SHE WOULD FOLLOW UP WITH THE OCCUPANT. I THEN CALLED THE OCCUPANT WHO STATED SHE HAS SEEN SPIDERS IN THE MAIL BOX, FRONT YARD AND REAR YARD. I THEN LOOKED IN ALL 3 MAILBOXES, I WALKED THE FRONT AND SIDE YARD SLOWLY LOOKING FOR SPIDERS OR WEBS. LOOKED AT THE BLOCK BUILDING ITSELF AND OVERHANGS, AND LOOKED OVER INTO THE REAR YARD BECAUSE THE GATE WAS LOCKED, THE REAR YARD WAS SMALL AND HAD BRICK PAVERS BUT I SAW NOTHING. MY INSPECTION FOUND NO SPIDERS. I LEFT A BUSINESS CARD FOR FUTURE REFRENCE AND I DID ASK THE OCCUPANT TO KILL AND SAVE ANY SPIDERS IN A BAG AS EVIDENCE. COMPLIANCE / CLOSE CASE. |
