09/07/2023 | COT - ENFC - Code Enforcement - Follow Up | Passed | Case will be closed, per TDOT: "After some research, Engineering inspector involved with the sidewalk inspection gave the approval to eliminate the last two (2) sidewalk panel replacements since the sidewalk ended on 1123 N. Tyndall Avenue, and it did not create a gap between existing sidewalks. In this case, the inspector used his experience and discretion to make a field decision, which ultimately helped the property owner without ignoring sidewalk continuity and pedestrian safety. Therefore, I recommend not pursuing any further citations with the property owner; Engineering considers this situation remediated and closed." |
