TEP HAD BEEN ON SITE, TURNED OFF ELECTRICAL LOCKED OUT METER AND RED TAGGED THE METER. WATER TO THE STRUCTURE WAS TURNED OFF AT THE WATER MAIN. PACC WAS ONSITE TO REMOVE A DOG AND THREE CATS THAT DID NOT MAKE IT OUT OF THE FIRE. THERE WAS NO FIRE DAMAGE TO THE 2ND FLOOR BUT HEAVY SMOKE DAMAGE THRU OUT IN ALL BEDROOMS AND BATHS AND HALLWAYS. FINDINGS ARE AS FOLLOWS: STRUCTURAL: FIRE DAMAGE TO THE PARTING WALL BETWEEN THE KITCHEN AND THE CARPORT. IT IS A FIRE WALL AND STUDS WERE FOUND BURNED AND DRYWALL REMOVED, EXPOSING PLUMBING AND ELECTRICAL. LARGE SECTION DRYWALL ALSO REMOVED KITCHEN CEILING EXPOSING FLOOR JOISTS AND ELECTRICAL. ELECTRICAL: SERVICE PANEL METER CAPPED AND LOCKED OUT BY TEP. HAZARDOUS ELECTRICAL AS WIRING EXPOSED IN WALLS AND CEILING. FIRE DAMAGED OUTLETS, SWITCHES, AND LIGHT FIXTURES THRU OUT THE 1ST FLOOR AREA. PLUMBING: POSSIBLE FIRE DAMAGE TO PLUMBING WATER AND SEWER LINES IN THE KITCHEN WALL. PLUMBING FIXTURES FIRE DAMAGED. MECHANICAL: HEAVY SMOKE DAMAGE TO THE DUCT WORK. EMERGENCY VACATE NOV WAS ISSUED AND INCLUDED PERMITS REQUIRE FOR ALL REPAIRS. INDEMNIFICATION NOTICE WAS ALSO ISSUED, C/E CLOSED ALL WINDOWS UPSTAIRS EXCEPT FOR 3 BEDROOM WINDOWS, LOCKED ALL WINDOWS DOWNSTAIRS AND SLIDING GLASS DOOR BEFORE I LEFT, TFD WAS STILL ONSITE AND OWNER WAS ASKED TO LOCK THE FRONT DOOR. BOARD UP WAS NOT REQUIRED. HOUSE WAS COMPLETED SEPT OF 2021, OWNER UNSURE OF HOW TO MOVE FORWARD. |
