THE EXISTING HOUSE HAS A WOOD BOX BEAM ABOVE THE DOUBLE BRICK WALL THAT RUNS THE FULL LENGTH OF THE HOUSE BOTH FRONT AND BACK. OLD WINDOWS WERE REPLACED BY NEW FIBERGLASS WINDOWS USING THE SAME OPENING AND BOX BEAM HEADER. A PERMIT IS NOT REQUIRED FOR REPLACING THE NEW WINDOWS AND ALTHOUGH VAPOR BARRIER SUGGESTED, STILL NOT A PERMITING ISSUE. THERE WAS ADDED ELECTRICAL, PLUMBING AND POSSIBLY MECHANICAL. FOOTINGS FOR THE EXTERIOR WALLS MAY BE REQUIRED. |
