08/24/2022 INSP - INITIAL CODE ENFORCMENT Approved Communication called that T.F.D. on site with a building fire. Arrived and the units were still on site and were starting to clean up. The fire investigators were on site and checking for cause. The fire was in the rear of the wood frame porch. The porch wood framing has charring on the rafters, fascia, sheathing, beam and wood siding on the storage room. The drywall in the storage room has burned or pulled down to check for extension of fire in the walls and ceilings. Some of the 1-coat plaster has holes also checking for fire on the exterior of the storage room. The electrical in the porch and the storage room has all been damaged by the fire. The fire extended into the kitchen area on the exterior wall and has burned the wiring in the ceiling for the house that was in the rafters by the rear wall. The drywall has burned in the kitchen on the outer wall and ceiling and some pulled down to check for fire in the walls and ceiling. The electrical was removed at the meter due to the damage of the fire and has no gas to the property. The water heater and the heating and cooling system are in the closet in the middle of the house and will need to be checked for smoke or heat damage. The water was left on at this time but has a house bibb with a main shut off valve in the fire area. The rear sliding glass door glass was broken in the fire. The door to the storage room was burned. The owner did not answer and had a phone number for a property manager and was not coming to the site and called Arcaiden Industries to the site to have the property secured. Posted the paperwork on the front window. The tenant grab some items and left to the parents house to stay. RV.
